The first decision you will have to make when starting your adventure with Afterglow: Strategy Miniatures Game is to choose the faction to which your warband will belong. This decision will primarily determine which characters you will be able to join your warband and which Faction Traits and Tactics cards you will use.
Importantly, the factions were created so that each of them represented not only a different aesthetic, but above all, they differed in their strengths and weaknesses. For this reason, it is important to choose a faction that allows you to play the game in a way that is most enjoyable for you.
Will it be a ferocious offensive using the ambushes of the Forsaken, the ability to conduct precision operations through specialized Naiym'vael units, the tenacious holding of positions and captured loot by the dwarves of the Forge Towns, or the leadership of a devoted and obedient band of followers of the One, whose commander provides additional opportunities for implementing military strategy?
